Schedule of Events

· 08/07/07 — Directives will be presenting a class for the ICU nurses at Torrance Memorial Hospital.  The topic will  be the physiology of death and dehydration and the effects that artificial hydration and vasopressor drips have upon their patients at the hour of death in the ICU.

· 08/09/07 — 08/10/07 — Directives will be presenting the final two of three presentations to complete the ELNEC Core Curriculum Train the Trainer to the nurse educators at Glendale Adventist Hospital

· 08/14/07 — The first breakfast meeting of the fundraising committee will take place.  This will be a strategizing and brain storming effort to fund the Bereavement Program.

· 09/12/07 — Directives will be presenting a teleconference for the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association. The topic will be “The Use of Duragesic Patches in EOL care.”
